EVO SPOILER FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T SEEN THE 10-6 EPOSODE YET

Did everybody watch Evo today? I don't know about you guys, but I loved Boom Boom! (though shouldn't she be called Meltdown now?) Was she just flirting with him, or was Kurt close to scoring? They would have been so cute together! Why is Kurt always getting knocked out, BTW? There's usually a fight scene in which he gets knocked unconscious, and now he's even getting knocked out while just training?
And now Boom Boom's living at the "no chicks allowed" (wasn't Mystique a chick?) Brotherhood boardinghouse? Yay! Is she a bad good girl, or a good bad girl? I like this new season!

I didn't really like Boom Boom. OK, I hated her. She's the kind of person I avoid at all costs in real life. (Bitch!)
Kurt does tend to get trashed easily! Probably 'cause he's so small. It's good to see that he is still pretty much in the spotlight for the second season! (At least for this episode.)

Well, my theory as to why the writers are always knocking our favorite elf unconscious is because as a teleporter his powers should make a lot of stuff really easy. It goes something like this "We'll have such and such happen to the X-Men" "Couldn't Nightcrawler just teleport them out, teleport the badguy away, etc.." "Oh yeah, well... Nightcrawler's unconscious then."
I'm a bit annoyed that they've broken their claim that the new characters wouldn't overshadow the old ones. (Boom Boom got the most screen time while I don't remember Rogue, Shadowcat, or Storm even appearing.
I liked how she kept flirting with Kurt (though she was mostly just using him) and how she called Wolverine, "Badger"!
I didn't like how she kept putting her little bomb things everywhere! (Cliff sides, lockers, soda machines, the controls of rides she's currently on!!) I know she's supposed to be wreckless, but DAMN! She's gotta have some concept of responsibility...
It is interesting that they finnally showed where the Brotherhood lives.

i work retail and boom boom reminds me of this toydept that u just wanna yank tha battries out of and throw it off tha roof!!
even kitty isnt as annoying with her 'like'phrase as she is with her entire self..i admit she does add a wee bit o fun the the show but man let the brotherhood have her........and about the no chicks comment at the brotherhood ...wasnt rogue apart of the brotherhood b4 she left for the x-men?? and please no more flirting with kurt ..boom boom flirting with kurt is making the whole kurt/kitty thing sound pretty good about now...the wolverine badger part was really cute lol

Ok, I got to see it. Here's my 2 cents:
At first, I was "Yeah!". But then, I ended up not liking the Boom character. The flirting and the jokes were wonderful, but then her having the nerve to use NC (and others) and, yet, at the same time allowing her own daddy dearest to use her (when anybody with enough sense should'ave known better)...I can understand that they are trying to play on the fact that it's all due to that "bad influence of a father", but, hell, I strongly disagree with that point: that influence is no excuse to use people, take what's not yours, and completely disregard everyone else (and especially if you are aware of the "bad" influence and still go along with it!)...I have both reasons and proof to back that up. As a cartoon, I found it pretty funny and interesting (at first), but that point, in reality, I just have to disagree with. So, in general, although the humor was great (loved seeing Toad going "at it again" against the door!), something in there didn't quite fit. It was nice, though, to see a little more of Kurt's side...his insecurities, dreams, etc. ... he shone (but then, to me, he always does

I'm not really sure what to think of Boom Boom... For one thing, she was definitely not my first choice for "Spotlight the Newbie!", though I understand that they did her first in order to get her out of the way and into the Brotherhood ASAP. :P
Anyway, I rather liked the storyline... a cruel, manipulative father getting his daughter to steal because of feelings of guilt she has towards her mother? Poor girl. I'd be more sympathetic if she wasn't so annoyingly reckless and irresponsible.
I don't like the idea of a romance between her and Kurt at all. I also think Kurt's too much of a sweetie - he'll fall for anyone who smiles kindly at him, the poor dear. Understandable, given his background, but still... he's in for a lot of heartbreak, that one...
Who am I hoping they look at next? Rahne. Or Iceman.
Anyway, I'm gonna shut off my ramblings before they get even more inane. :P Night y'all.
